Shriners of North America is an international fraternity based on fun,
fellowship and the Masonic principles of brotherly love, relief and
truth. There are approximately 375,000 members from 191 temples
(chapters) in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Republic of Panama.
Shriners of North America support Shriners Hospitals for Children, a
one-of-a-kind international health care system of 22 hospitals
dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing specialty
pediatric care, innovative research and outstanding teaching programs.
Since 1922, Shriners Hospitals for Children have significantly improved
the lives of more than 865,000 children.
If you hold the title of Master Mason in Freemasonry, you qualify and are invited to join the Shriners. Information on becoming a Shriner can be obtained by clicking the "Become a Shriner!" link on the menu to the left.
Shriners of Montana
There are 3 Shrine Temples in Montana - Al Bedoo in Billings, Algeria in Helena, and Bagdad in Butte. Each of the three temples have a variety of activities designed to make being a Shriner and supporting the 22 hospitals fun!
The Shrine Temples in Montana are 3 of the 18 Temples that make up the Pacific Northwest Shrine Association, PNSA. The PNSA is held in different locations each winter, for a business meeting, and each summer for a ceremonial and fun meeting. In 2009, the PNSA will be held in Billings, MT. In 2011, the PNSA will be hosted by Bagdad Temple and held in Butte, MT to celebrate our 100th anniversary of becoming a Shrine Temple!
